Many retailers have community programs to help non-profit organizations meet their financial needs.  Troop 634 currently participates in four programs: Ralphs Community Contribution Program, Albertsons' Community Partners, Escrip and SchoolPop.  Each program has different methods of registration, purchase and donation.  Once a Scouting family has started the process, they will see how easy it can be to raise funds for the troop and their son.

Ralphs Community Contribution Program

Scouting families sign up by completing a Participants Official List. (click on the link for the PDF). All fields in the form must be filled in and they must be legible. Ask your family members and friends for their Ralphs Club Card too.  The more participants there are, the higher the donation will be from Ralphs.

Give the completed form to Jill Packard and she will fax it in to Ralphs.  It takes about two weeks for processing.  Participants must remember to swipe their Ralphs Club card at every purchase.  Reports and donation checks are sent to the troop every quarter and will be posted to your scout's account in a timely manner.  As with all of the programs our troop participates in, 50% of the funds go to the scout's account and 50% goes to the troops general fund.

Albertsons Community Partners

Scrip sales is a way to help out our troop and help fund some of your boy's outings as well!

We all know we are going to spend money at the grocery store, the gas station and the video store.

The Scrip Program for Troop 634 helps parents get some of that money back to use for their scout's expenses.

Here's how it works:

• We buy gift certificates (or gift cards) for a variety of vendors at a discounted price.
• Parents then buy the certificates at face value.
• The difference is split between the boy and the Troop.
• The Troop uses these funds to maintain equipment and buy supplies.
• The boys' accounts are used at the discretion of their parents to pay for trips or Class B shirts.
